Service Description: This metadata record describes the 1.0-foot pixel resolution digital orthoimagery produced for Virginia by the Sanborn Map Company. The orthoimagery provided is 4-band (R, G, B, NIR), 8-bit per pixel and delivered in section tiles in uncompressed TIFF/TFW format. The tiles are also provided in SID/SDW format (MG3, RGB, 20:1). The data was flown on February 7, 17, 25-26, 28, 2025 and March 1-3, 11-12, and 18, 2025 at an altitude of 24600 feet AGL using an UltraCam Eagle M3 camera and complies with the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Accuracy Standards (ASPRS) for Class 1, large scale maps at 1" = 200'. This orthoimagery is published in Virginia State Plane North and South, NAD83 HARN, FIPS Zone(s) 4501 and 4502 (US Feet).
