Abstract:

The data define each fire company’s first due area. The first due area is the area for which a given fire company is responsible.

Purpose:

The boundary defines the extent of each fire company's jurisdiction. Within this area, a given fire company will be the first unit dispatched on a call.

Supplemental Information:

Data are stored in the corporate ArcSDE Geodatabase as a feature class. The coordinate system is Virginia State Plane (North), Zone 4501, datum NAD83 HARN.
