**DISCLAIMER**** These track data are for illustrative purposes only. The 11.5 mile Phase 2 track data and the maintenance track extension were extracted from the latest proposed data provided by MWAA to the Loudoun County Office of Mapping and Geographic Information on April 25, 2012. These data reflect the extension of the Silver Line from Wiehle Ave in Reston, VA to west of Ashburn, VA and, when completed, will become part of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Metrorail system.

Purpose:

This layer identifies the proposed location of the primary and maintenance Metrorail tracks as part of Phase 2 of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project being constructed by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), Fairfax County, Loudoun County, Town of Herndon and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) in Fairfax County and Loudoun County, VA.

Loudoun County distributes spatial data in ArcGIS database or shapefile & DXF format for the cost of reproduction. Countywide spatial datasets may be purchased for $$22 per DVD for up to 4.5 GB of data. There is a $100 surcharge to purchase countywide topography, and a $3 charge if the item is to be mailed. If the customer wants the data in DXF format and/or would like OMAGI to custom select specific geographic areas of the County, there is an additional $7 per 15 minute increment labor charge. Select aerial imagery is also available.
