Abstract:

The Bus Routes and Stops layer was developed from previous data provided by the Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure(DTCI) and current data collected by the Office of Mapping and Geographic Information(OMAGI). The bus routes vector data is based entirely on the street centerline of Loudoun County.

Purpose:

This layer identifies the local commuter bus service for Loudoun County , Virginia. This layer contains the bus stop information that was compiled by the Office of Mapping and Geographic Information(OMAGI) with the assistance of the Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure. The data was initially complied to support a public bus mapping application developed by the Office of Mapping and Geographic Inofrmation (OMAGI).

Supplemental_Information:

Data are stored in a corporate geodatabase as an arc feature class. The coordinate system is Virginia State Plane Zone (North), Zone 4501, datum NAD83 HARN.
